The World of the Deaf Foundation

The Deaf’s World Foundation was created out of the need of the heart! For years we have been working for the benefit of the entire community: D/deaf, hard of hearing and hearing.

Communication barriers mean that the deaf community and their needs are often not heard in the hearing world. As a Foundation, we are the voice of the community that reminds society of the needs of the deaf!

Therefore, we promote accessibility, sign language, good practices, outstanding personalities and bilingual education. The Foundation is the founder of the Deaf Development Center, where deaf people can acquire new skills, improve their qualifications, get a good job (e.g. programmer). We are also teaching hearing people sign language in an interesting and engaging way, which includes telling them about the culture of the deaf!
